G Camp, a prestigious startup accelerator program based in Asia, announced today the ten startups selected for its Taiwan Startup Pitch Night. The virtual event will be held on October 22, organized by 10X Innovation Lab in partnership with Taiwan’s Small and Medium Enterprise Administration (SMEA), MOEA and the Institute for Information Industry (Triple III).
In addition to live pitches, the virtual event will also feature a panel discussion on the topic “From Asia to Silicon Valley: Expanding Your Business to the Valley”, joined by Silicon Valley VC Marvin Liao, 10X Innovation Lab co-founders, Klaus Wehage and Aaron McDaniel, and Mitchell Weinstock, a Partner at HP Tech Ventures.
The ten participating startups are selected from various verticals, ranging from fintech, AI, IoT, healthtech, robotics to AR/VR. AI startups include Giftpack, an AI-powered business gifting platform that is trusted by Facebook. Robotics startups include NUWA Robotics, designers of Kebbi Air, an AI robot with STEAM programs that can teach children foreign languages and coding. Each startup will have three minutes to pitch to a panel of Silicon Valley-based investors and ecosystem match-makers. Marvin Liao, a former partner at 500 Startups and known as the “Startup Guy”, has over two decades of experience in Silicon Valley both as an executive and venture capitalist. With expertise in monetization of nascent technologies and new products marketing, Mitchell Weinstock has worked with some of the biggest names, products and architectures from Apple QuickTime to the first Razer gaming mouse.
Aaron McDaniel, Head of Entrepreneurship at 10X Innovation Lab, is a serial entrepreneur and member of the faculty at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business as well as an accomplished author of two entrepreneurship books. Klaus Wehage, CEO of 10X Innovation Lab and commonly known as the “Silicon Valley Ambassador”, currently works as a consultant for the Taiwanese and Japanese government on ecosystem building and economic development.
Taiwan Startup Pitch Night will be available online on October 22 Pacific Time at 6:30pm, and October 23 Asia Time at 10am. Tickets for the event are on sale now.

NUWA Robotics, designers of Kebbi Air, an AI robot that can teach children foreign languages and coding.
WOWWOW Innovative Lab, a content developer focused on creating realistic and immersive VR and AR experiences.
RelaJet, a developer of various audio products, including software licensing for hearing aids, PSAP, Qualcomm TrueWireless™ earbuds, and audio conference systems.
IoNetworks, an open platform company that develops a video management software, AI based video analytics, and recording servers that focuses on high end projects, large scale bids, and cloud video services with local telecoms over APAC and EMEA.
Adenovo, a fintech company creating financial products and solutions to help banks, AMCs, and other online service providers improve their payment processing, supply chain finance, real-time consumer finance, and car refinancing.
IOE Intelligent Technology Company, a wireless solutions company providing Bluetooth, RFID hardware and real time indoor location service platform for the IoT market.
